Meanwhile, our very important Intensive is still underway.

🔹 STEP 3. REASSESSING THE “REWARD”

🔸 Goal:

Destroy the illusion that [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ] provides real pleasure or helps.
Teach the brain to see the truth, rather than the dopamine bait.

🔸 What to do:

Every time you do [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ] after all, do not scold yourself.
Instead, write down (you can do it mentally, but writing is better):
  1. What do I feel in my body now, 5 minutes after [ЗАВИСИМОСТИ]?
  2. Do I really feel better?
  3. What did I expect to get—and what did I actually get?
  4. Do I want to repeat this right now? Why?
  5. Was there freedom in this act—or did I simply give in to a stimulus that was not my own (imposed, even if I do not yet understand by whom or when)?

🔸 Why this matters:

When we expect a “reward” from [ЗАВИСИМОСТИ], the brain releases dopamine even before the action itself. This creates the feeling of an irresistible urge.

But the action itself often provides less pleasure than the anticipation.

This step activates the mechanism of cognitive disappointment—and the addiction loses its power as a source of a “high.”

You learn to see that addiction is simply a promise of pleasure that is not fulfilled.

🔸 Additional task:

Choose a moment when you have a strong urge to do [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ],
and imagine in advance what it will be like AFTERWARD:

  • How will I feel five minutes after [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ] happens?
  • What will my body tell me?
  • Will there be any clarity?
  • Will the emptiness go away—or will it only get worse?

📌 This activates the prefrontal cortex, which knows how to say “no” to illusions.

🪶 Liberation begins not with prohibition, but with seeing the truth.
And the truth is on your side here.

You can write in this thread, if you wish, what you always expect from your [ЗАВИСИМОСТИ], and what it actually gives you.

For example:

Sweets before bed.

I expected to be overjoyed and soar into space from happiness and pleasure after eating candies and cookies.

But in reality: I tossed and turned for two hours and could not fall asleep because of terrible sensations in my stomach. The next day, the scales showed 500 grams more. My face was swollen. Disappointment. Bad mood. A leaden body.

There was no happiness at all. Quite the opposite.

As you can see, not even a hint has been made that you need to give up something.

In other words, we are going through Step 3. But there is nothing prohibitive about it.

All doors are open.

That is true victory over addictions—when you do this not to be convenient for society, but solely for yourself.

I can even offer you another interesting idea.

That addictions are real Entities.

And they need you in order to live.

Yes, their form of life differs from yours. It is energetic. But that does not change the fact that they are alive, although they are DIFFERENT.

Where does a program live?

Well, you are reading my text right now.

You are using some kind of program to do this.

Let’s say, the Chrome browser.

That is a program.

Moreover, one program runs on another program, and that one on yet another program.

But where are they all?

They exist, but you do not see them.

You only see something visual, such as my text right now.

As a programmer, I can see where these programs are.

But you cannot.

Knowledge and experience are required for that.

They exist. But they are different.

And they need a CARRIER.

They are not parasites.

They give your computer MEANING.

Without them, a computer is just a pile of junk.

The same applies to your programs in your head.

Remove them all, and what will happen?

That is why everything will work according to what you fill yourself with.

My addiction is not alcohol or cigarettes. My real addiction is constant dissatisfaction with myself. It is with me every minute. As soon as I wake up, my inner critic is already sitting on the edge of the bed, waiting for me to open my eyes. He tells me that I have not done enough again, that I am a worthless failure, that other people do a hundred times more than I do, and do it better. He compares me to imaginary “perfect women” who have a tidy home, a career, children in perfect outfits, and apple pies on the table. And I, according to him, am “a complete idiot,” an eternal failure who is always lacking in intelligence, beauty, and character.
I try to prove to myself and to him that this is not true—I run around, try to get everything done, make to-do lists, and work myself to exhaustion. But even if the day was productive, even if I am physically drained, he is still dissatisfied. He always finds something to criticize: dust in the corner, forgetting to call back, food that is too simple, a child who is not in the mood—which means I am a bad mother. He does not give me a minute’s peace. I am addicted to this inner violence—as if I do not know how to live without it. But when I stop and think clearly, I see that it is a lie. That I do a lot. That I exist, and that I am alive. I am not a robot. I do not have to be perfect. But as long as I live with this critic in my head, it is difficult for me. He is destructive. He is my inner prison. And I want to get out of it.

Hello, my dear one (in both the literal and figurative sense—addiction, beer alcoholism)! I am grateful to you for helping me relax my body and mind as best you could, even if only briefly. You helped me express emotions that I usually kept hidden deep inside. With you, life is fun and carefree, and you do not feel lonely. But it is all artificial and does not last long. For the most part, you are of course merely a substitute, and at this point I no longer want to need you. But of course, I will always be grateful to you for the priceless experience. You do understand that our paths must now part!!! There is no need to look for yourself with your help. I am more than confident that I can move forward through life without your help. I ask your forgiveness and forgive you for the time wasted and the opportunities missed. We are on different paths. I need this intensive course to drive this home and firmly establish it in my mind. Once and for all! I remember my childhood: I did not need any surrogates or substitutes. It never even occurred to me that this could be used!

We have reached Step No. 4, and are getting even closer to the freedom that, of course, you all love very much :)

🔹 STEP 4.

Здесь находится скрытый материал. Чтобы его открыть Вам надо написать полезный текст не менее 500 символов (букв). Сейчас у Вас символов: 0.

As you can see, in Step No. 4 you once again forbid yourself nothing. Everything proceeds as usual.

But those who are currently taking this Intensive may already feel that something is changing!

Nothing is as usual.

It is different.

My addiction is evaluation. After Step 2 and Step 3, I really have more energy. You can feel it immediately. I stopped feeling emotionally exhausted by clients at work. Of course, sometimes I can't "catch" the space of the pause. But I think that's a matter of practice. I came up with this for myself: if I do "get hooked" in some situation, I immediately remember the Law of Justice, jump into a neutral state (even a couple of moments is enough), and voila—the state is restored, with some extra percentage points too)) And here I was thinking that my job was... "not very good," but it turned out that for this intensive, 200–300 clients a day is a BLESSING:D

Now, regarding Step 4, I'm not sure it would be right to try to evaluate positively. It feels somehow wrong. I still don't understand how I can evaluate DIFFERENTLY.

I don't know whether I have the right to enter this topic now, when everyone has already reached the fourth step. I followed everything, read everything, and worked through it as best I knew how. Having become aware of my dependencies, I was easily able to separate myself from them, realizing that I am not them. I had already gone through all these stages once, and I didn't want to get involved in them again. About six months ago, I said goodbye to my dependent essence. But the third step resonated with me deeply, when I saw how easily my brain plays games and how advantageous it is for it to keep everything going through its ingrained programs. I asked my body whether it feels better now, when it habitually receives whatever comes intuitively, as a program, or whether it would rather be free to express itself as someone who can exist freely, independent of any opinions and perceptions. I am still waiting for the answer. Or could there be another way?

In any case, I am grateful to OM Shanti for this intensive.

Step 1

1. My addiction is perfectionism in everything (but only toward myself, not toward others—I’m a rescuer when it comes to others 😅, or rather, I save myself through others). Especially when I need to express myself publicly or simply show myself: my knowledge and experience on social media; going to the pool alone, riding a bicycle; doing some home repairs; studying foreign languages or, for example, traffic rules on my own; and my appearance.

2. • “We won’t go to the pool until we get ourselves in shape”—that’s my addiction speaking, not me.
• “I won’t share my knowledge until I learn how to create content perfectly”—that’s my addiction speaking, not me.
• “I won’t study languages on my own—I might misunderstand something and then have to relearn it with a teacher; it’s better to wait until I enroll in a course”—that’s my addiction speaking, not me.
• “I won’t host livestreams and share spiritual knowledge about God until I complete a public-speaking course”—that’s my addiction speaking, not me.
• “I won’t paint the walls—I might not do it perfectly”—that’s my addiction speaking, not me.

“Hello, my dear Perfectionism. I understand why you were in my life, and I’m grateful to you for that 🙏
You protected and guarded my psyche from greater strain and upheaval because there was a little girl inside me with a host of insecurities and fears, and a constantly critical voice from childhood judging her every expression of herself. She was afraid of making a mistake and being scolded, criticized, or attacked because of it, and of having to stand up for her boundaries and defend herself. She was afraid to express herself because she feared being devalued. And so it seemed better not to do anything at all, but to feel tired and suffer alone, controlling the dosage of suffering. But now I have grown up, and I want to say goodbye to you with immense gratitude for protecting me. The parental voices within me no longer criticize me; they love and value me deeply. My Family Line stands behind me, and God is at its head 🙏
I want to live and do everything from my soul and inner freedom! I release you ❣

I want to take this intensive so that I can finally break free from my addiction.
I’ve taken part in many intensives במסגרת Ashram and clubs, with good results. So why not this time too—yes 🤗

I’ve just realized with surprise how many dependencies I have. Of course, they’re not as serious as alcoholism or drug addiction, but still…
There are many small ones that drain my energy and harm my health:
reading the news, sweets, watching short videos, overeating—and much more.
Practically everything that afflicts the modern average man over 30 🙂.

There were also serious addictions, the most commonplace ones: smoking, alcohol, and drugs.
Smoking and alcohol disappeared from my life after I learned that there are groups of people who deliberately poison the population—and that it’s not even just about the profits of tobacco and alcohol corporations.
When I realized this, I felt the urge to resist.
That became the catalyst for me to quit smoking and drinking.

Drugs were much more difficult.
Smoking weed and using hard synthetic substances—
that was a deep addiction, and not everyone is capable of escaping its influence.
But I’m grateful to God for this experience—I needed it.
Alcohol and drugs are rock bottom, and I don’t want to return there ever again. I understand that very clearly.

That’s why an extra vegetable patty or a lemon wafer 😊 doesn’t look so frightening to me now compared with what I used to go through.

Having pushed off from rock bottom, I’m striving upward.
And even such minor habits as overeating, sweets, swearing (by the way, that too), and others have become a tangible brake for me.
I’m well aware of this—and that’s precisely why I decided to take this intensive course.

As you can see, there is not the slightest difficulty in these steps that we take with those who have nevertheless decided to become free.

When people go into the mountains, they take a guide.
There are quite a few people who decided to do it THEMSELVES—and this often leads to bad consequences.
The mountains do not forgive mistakes...

There are subtle trails that lead to the summits. All that is required is knowledge of them and a little desire to keep moving forward.
And after some time, even unprepared hikers will see such an incredibly beautiful view from the mountaintop that it will change their entire lives...

Step 1.
I named my addictions: “Control” and “Fear of making a mistake.”

My “Control” addiction constantly tells me:
“If you don’t warn them about this / do this, something bad will definitely happen.” — but that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“If you prepare in advance and explain/write about it as convincingly as possible, he/she will understand everything and won’t make a mistake.” — but that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“If you don’t add one more, additional register to the list (or better yet, 20 at once), then the Q&A session won’t be effective.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“If you relax, stop worrying and thinking about problems, the situation will get out of control and cause you suffering.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“Without constant control, I will lose my sense of confidence. And if something suddenly happens, I will inevitably blame myself.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.

My “Fear of making a mistake” addiction keeps repeating:
“Even after rereading the message you wrote ten times, you may have missed a mistake. Be sure to check it again.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“Better not write in the comments / ask a question — what if you do something wrong?” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“To do this, you need great talent / excellent skills / certain qualities that you don’t possess.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“Making a mistake is unacceptable, shameful!” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“Better not try / take part — there’s a high risk of making a mistake!” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.
“Don’t do it quickly / think it over for as long as possible / check and redo the same thing many times — that way you can avoid mistakes.” — that isn’t me speaking; it’s my addiction.

I’m addressing you, my “Control” addiction, and you, my “Fear of making a mistake” addiction! Both of you gave me — even if only for a short time — a sense of security and confidence that I was in control of the situation. You made me attentive and cautious, while the fear of making a mistake sometimes served as an incentive to learn and improve. So I say to you: “Thank you!” But your presence has become unbearable for me. It surrounds me with fear, takes away my time, and deprives me of joy, peace, lightness and naturalness. I am ready to learn to live without you! Farewell, my “Control” addiction! Farewell, my “Fear of making a mistake” addiction! With gratitude, but also with determination, I choose Freedom, Acceptance and Joy!

Step 2.
Switching to a vegetarian diet did not require any serious effort from me — I simply stopped eating meat and even feel some aversion to it. I have to fight all my other addictions and suffer heavy losses. They are cunning: they can disguise themselves and change their appearance and tactics. As soon as I showed firm resolve to give up sugar and baked goods, a new temptation appeared in the form of raisins, dates and baked apples, along with persuasion to eat these “harmless” sweets in any quantity.
When I wrote the names of my addictions on a sheet of paper, I felt myself surrounded by a tight ring of those who control my life. Much of what I had put on paper I had not even previously perceived as an addiction; I considered it part of myself. The beliefs, desires and fears turned out to be foreign to me. Amid all those чужие voices, I stopped hearing my own. I had lost myself. Addictions take away my resources, prevent me from developing and being healthy, and constantly pull me backward. I want to get rid of them, which is why this intensive is so important to me.

🔹 STEP 6. BODY-ORIENTED PRACTICE

Body-oriented psychotherapy is very popular now.
It allows you not to dig around in a person’s psyche. No need to torment them for a long time :)
Its goal is to find where the psychological trauma lives—in the person’s body. Yes, precisely in the physical body.
It can live there in any form. For example, as tension or a block.
But these are only the most obvious signs of its presence. There are others as well.
So, if you work on this place physically, the psychological problem GOES AWAY too. That is REALLY convenient.
For example, with teenagers. Remove it from the body, and the dependency in the mind disappears.
And this works with anyone.
And I’ll repeat once again: dependency is not only about smoking, alcohol, or drugs. You can be dependent on anything.

This is already Step No. 6.
Welcome to the world of freedom!
For those who are chosen for it :)

🔸 Goal:

Remove the traces imprinted in the body of [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ]: tension, constrictions, inner anticipation of a “dose,” pain, the habit of freezing or fleeing.
Dependency is not only in the mind. It lives in the body.

🔸 What to do:

  1. Find where [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ] lives in your body.
    Sit quietly. Close your eyes.
    Ask yourself:
“If my [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ] lived somewhere in my body—where would it be?”
Simply listen: perhaps it is in your chest, stomach, neck, back, hands…
  2. Don’t analyze—feel.
    What is there:
    —heaviness?
    —tension?
    —emptiness?
    —heat or cold?
    —pulsation?
Name the sensations without judging them.
    Say:
“I see you. I am no longer hiding from you.”
  3. Begin breathing into this area.
Imagine that with each inhale, you gently embrace this place.
And with each exhale, you release what is no longer needed.
Breathe without a goal. Simply be there.
  4. If feelings arise (tears, anxiety, anger, trembling)—
    allow them to be.
This is not a relapse—it is release.

🔸 Why this matters:

📌 The body remembers everything: the impulses, rituals, and comfort you received through [ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ].
Without releasing the body, the brain will return to it again.

When you breathe into that place—
You rewrite your body’s memory.
You reclaim the territory that dependency used to occupy.

🔸 Additional task:

Write a letter to your body.
Keep it short. From the heart. For example:

“Dear shoulders, stomach, hands of mine…
I’m sorry that for so long I gave you pain instead of peace.
Now I hear you. I am with you. I breathe with you.
We are no longer alone.”

🪶 Freedom is not an idea.
Freedom is when the body becomes quiet.
When it no longer needs to scream through dependency.

Ready to move forward scientifically toward freedom?
Excellent!

But look around—you’re not so many anymore :)
Even those who started this journey with you have somehow disappeared...

You are among the few!

Let THIS inspire you.

Many are ready to chat about Freedom. Only a few are capable of moving toward it.

Why do I want to complete this intensive course to the end...?! Because the Path of freedom that Om Shanti shows is the only path that is truly needed, right, and correct. Because all the paths to Freedom that the Teacher showed before led to it in one way or another. Because freedom is truly a great happiness. Real freedom. And the more I manage to truly understand and attain it, the happier I become, more resourceful, and stronger within—and that means I can share this feeling and strength with those around me, with the world. I would like to overcome my dependencies. Moreover, secretly, I had been waiting specifically for this intensive course. I had been waiting for a long time, because the shackles of dependencies (attachments) do not allow the soul to fly high...
Yes, there is strong resistance from within, but I am very grateful to the Teacher for leading us along this Path. And the need to write in the thread is also a way to understand and reassess the importance and significance of certain goals, their relevance, and to fight for the opportunity. A very good "hook"))))) It caught me))))))))
Namaste!

I decided to take this intensive course because I feel that Om Shanti has made significant progress on the path to his Higher Self, leaving me behind. Year after year, I watch him move farther away, like a train disappearing ever farther and higher. In my youth, full of ambition, I dreamed of drawing closer to him and basking in the rays of his light. But over time, I realized that everyone has their own path, and I must follow mine, relying on the knowledge I have received. A magic wand will not solve the problem of my being in this world.

During another turn of life, I realized that I had gone off course and that I needed to act in order to achieve my dream. Aware of my harmful habits and dependencies, I did not eliminate them but suppressed them by resorting to workaholism, polyphasic sleep, and time management. Daily rituals—prayer, running, a contrast shower—as well as unsystematic techniques such as the Eye of Rebirth, Wim Hof Breathing, and Instant Evolution helped me redirect my attention to work, which I literally lived for, spending 16 hours a day on it.

As a result, the wheel of life balance malfunctioned, and I faced consequences that I am now dealing with while gradually restoring my health. I always dreamed of being able, as in the films "The Matrix" or "Johnny Mnemonic," to upload a program into my brain and become whoever I wanted to be. But I understand that only one thing is needed for this—to work on myself. To look in the mirror, not complain about fate, but act. I hope that in this incarnation I will break the wheel of samsara and achieve the purpose of my birth on Earth.

You can still join the intensive!
But there is less and less time left!

Remember: tomorrow never comes. Everything you do today is your life. And what you supposedly will do tomorrow will remain undone.
It is now the middle of summer. Like the middle of life. Have you ever thought that you will soon be 50? Summer flies by in just the same way—as if it had never happened...

This is a very powerful practice.
Although it looks simple.

I called this stage of our Intensive the Step of Strength.

This is already Step 9. And nine is the number of God.

I explain why THIS is the Step of Strength in the description—for those who are currently GOING THROUGH this Intensive.

You still have a little time—just a tiny bit—to join this Intensive, which will give you Freedom!

Hello everyone. I wish everyone who wants to overcome an addiction success in doing so. I would like to overcome my own addiction as well—for example, my dependence on alcohol, or at least reduce it. I am also addicted to very strong tea.
Strong tea may give you a boost, but excessive consumption weakens the heart. As a result, that boost diminishes. It is a paradox: you drink tea to feel a surge of energy, but end up feeling tired. Moderation is needed in everything.
