Child, adult, elderly person... It does not matter. These are merely garments.
The one who put on the garment of a child had been someone before that.
They had already been under the influence of worlds and feelings such as ours.
That is why they ended up here.
It feels as though, for the most part, the predominant emotion among the majority of people is Fear. Fear of losing one's job, fear of illness, fear of relationships falling apart, fear of being "worse" than others, and so on. Aggression follows as a consequence. The control of people—or rather, zombification—has historically been based on fear. Apparently, this is a characteristic of the Age of Ignorance, rather than of this world as such.
We become what we think about. Thoughts turn into emotions, and we experience fear of loneliness, fear of getting lost in this illusion.
It seems to me that fear comes first—fear of many things: our attachments, dissatisfaction with ourselves, those around us, our country, and so on; envy, pride, and a great deal of aggression lately. Our endless desires.
