that there are videos on YouTube with very sensational titles.
For example:
“Listen to this mantra—and you will get a million rubles.”
There are also other videos—with much less sensational titles.
For example:
“Study this or that literature, preferably scientific. Do what it says,
and over time you will earn a certain amount of money.”
And you yourself understand perfectly well what happens.
The first videos get millions of views.
The second get 10, 15, or 200.
This is no longer just an opinion—
it is a certain kind of statistic.
Moreover, it is official statistics
that are publicly available on YouTube.
From these figures, you can see the extent of
people’s unwillingness to do anything,
to learn anything,
to take responsibility.
Everyone wants to press a button,
listen to a “magic mantra,”
and get what they want.
Can you imagine how this looks from the outside?
As if everyone has decided that everything should be as simple as possible.
And that is precisely why there are few people
who are truly rich
and lack nothing,
while there are many people who envy them.
I have been teaching people for about 30 years.
In 2003, I created the “Your Yoga” website.
Before that, I created other websites—
less popular ones, now forgotten.
I created forums.
In fact, as soon as the Internet appeared in Russia,
I was already there, actively working with people remotely through my texts and practices. Before that, I even produced some newspapers and magazines for certain spiritual organizations and people pursuing self-development.... I was even the editor-in-chief of a newspaper about Nature that is very well known today (I already told you about this on the Your Yoga website). In fact, I am its founder. I printed its first issue on my ancient printer. And I saw the happy faces of people when I brought them about 30 copies...
And even earlier, I traveled around Russia and beyond,
studying various spiritual and esoteric paths.
I am telling you this now not to receive praise,
but so that you understand one thing:
I am not the kind of yogi who sat in the Himalayas
and suddenly fell into the modern world.
I know all of this from the inside.
I know Buddhist communities—from the inside.
Vedic and Vaishnava communities—from the inside.
Yogic paths—from the inside.
Even various sects.
I have been to many places.
And over all this time, I have seen one simple picture.
People are mostly divided into two types.
The first are those who wait for magic
while not wanting to do anything.
The second are those who also wait for magic,
but do something as well.
And who do you think
actually succeeds at something?
Obviously, those who both put their faith in God
and do not sit idly by.
This world is much broader
than they try to convince us at school,
or literally from kindergarten.
The world cannot be confined
to scientific frameworks alone.
It is much bigger.
And, of course, mysticism and magic do exist.
But you cannot take only that and nothing else.
If you want to get everything,
you must take everything.
We really do live in a world
that is self-sufficient by nature.
If people had not turned away from nature
and harmed it,
we would now be living in a completely different world.
A world where you go outside,
and an apple tree is blossoming,
with apples on it,
and you pick them and eat them.
And you do not need to work
just to have food.
In fact, in many southern countries,
that is exactly what happens.
There are groups of people
who do not work in the usual sense.
They simply reach out,
pick a fruit,
and eat it.
They do not work at all, yet they have absolutely everything they need for life.
They are even astonished to learn that there are people somewhere who need to work so much!!!
Yet we call them savages!
Do you understand?
God and nature gave us this opportunity.
But people wanted to live in their own way.
I am saying this to show that life in joy, happiness,
and even in a certain kind of “doing nothing”
is possible.
It exists.
But for this, two things must be combined.
On the one hand,
live in harmony with God and nature.
Nowadays, it is fashionable to call this
“going with the flow.”
But it is not a flow.
It is harmony with the laws of God and nature.
And harmony
is a certain way of life.
A certain way of acting.
Not as you want,
but as God tells you.
These are two different things:
when you have made something up
and when you have learned something.
Just imagine:
God is your father.
Nature is your mother.
They tell you something,
and you do not listen to them.
Of course, nothing good
will come of that.
You will be “punished,”
you will suffer and cry,
and this will continue
until
you understand
what is required of you.
And it is not that
the father is bad
or the mother is bad.
The point is that
you are a small child.
You are growing.
You are being prepared for something.
And they want what is best for you.
But for this good
to actually happen to you,
you need to do something.
What do parents want from a child?
Obviously, not for him
to sit on a chair and simply dream.
They want him
to both dream
and act.
