This video is about the main illusion of modern people:
that opportunities come by chance.

I demonstrate this with a simple and honest example:
for decades, I have had free materials, practices, texts, and knowledge available.
They are right there in plain sight.
And people keep saying:

“I happened to come across it…”

The key word is “happened.”

In the video, I explain why this happens:
people have become passive.
They wait for someone to bring things to them, show them, and advertise them.
If no one brings it — then apparently “it wasn’t given to them.”

But life does not work that way.

God does not advertise.
Nature does not make announcements.
Sunrises are not sold through banners.
Berries do not arrive with a notification.

Everything free in this world requires movement.
Get up. Go. Take it.

I draw a direct parallel between:
— spirituality,
— money,
— knowledge,
— life in general.

And I show why:

some people complain all the time,
while others simply take what is already lying at their feet.

not about mantras,
not about accusations,
and not about “who got lucky.”

about taking action.

Today I will tell you how people miss their opportunities.
And I will even prove it to you.

For example, I have the Mahapurna School,
an Ashram,
a website,
social media,
and video blogs with audiences of many thousands.

And there is a huge amount of useful material there,
completely free of charge.

These materials have been there for, if I may say so, decades.
Especially on the “Your Yoga” website.

And what do I observe?

I observe people saying:
“I happened to come across one of your materials,”
“I happened to find a practice.”

Notice this —
they literally all use the word “happened.”

Can you imagine?
So many opportunities.
So much available.
Take it — use it.

But people discover useful things by chance.

I am not even talking about paid materials right now.
Paid things are naturally advertised more often,
and people are informed about them more frequently.
That is why many people see them first.

But why do people miss free opportunities?

The answer is simple:
people are very passive.

They think it is more important to recite some mantra,
print out a yantra,
pray to someone —
and that is all.

But free materials are right there —
they are yours, use them.

Yet people still say
that they found something by chance.

Even those who have been practicing my methods for a long time
still periodically discover something “by chance.”

Why by chance?
You simply go and use it.

And exactly the same thing happens in life.

People are ready to cry in a temple
and say to God:
“Why haven’t You given me something?”
“Why did You give it to others but not to me?”

These laments in temples…
“He didn’t give me enough.”

And what does “didn’t give me enough” mean?

It means that a person is simply waiting
for someone to bring them something.

That is what “by chance” means.

People are ready to envy those
who earn a lot,
know a lot,
can do a lot,
and are capable of much.

But they do not understand
that this is backed by effort
and concrete actions.

These people simply went and took
what had already been given to them.

There is an enormous amount of everything free in the world.
But you do not take it.

You take paid things,
because they are brought to your attention,
shown to you,
and advertised.

That is why you see them more often.

With free things, everything is different.

Somewhere in a field, bird cherry is in bloom.
Somewhere, the bird cherry has ripened.
Mushrooms have appeared.
Berries have appeared.

No one will advertise this to you.

Everything there is free.
But you have to get up and go.

Nature advertises nothing.
God advertises nothing.

That is why you do not see advertisements for the beauty of sunrises,
advertisements for sunsets,
advertisements for starry skies,
advertisements for ripe fruit.

They do not exist.

Because nature does not need advertising.

In nature, those who want to live survive.

Those who simply sit down
and start repeating a mantra
do not survive in nature.

In nature, you have to move.
You have to develop.

And then you receive what you need.
And often — even more.

Learn from nature.
Nature is a very good teacher.

All these houses, apartments, warm clothes,
and beautiful life —
all of it is the result of actions.

In nature, you cannot simply sit
and do nothing.

Look at the animals.
Look at the plants.

They all struggle to survive.
More precisely, that is what we call it.

They do not call it that themselves.

They simply strive to occupy
a more comfortable position,
a more advantageous place.

And this is available to everyone.

It is not that some animals or plants are given this,
while others are not.

The Earth is vast.

Do.
Move.
Live.

And you can do exactly the same.

When I begin working in a certain direction, nature itself opens its gates, life is alive, and reveals itself through life.

I express my gratitude for the many years of work that have crystallized over time into an entire body of knowledge about a way of life and useful habits, if one may describe, however roughly, everything that Om Shanti has given us. At times, I simply feel ashamed of my weak efforts in spiritual growth, which is sometimes pushed into the background in the pursuit of material benefits. Of course, everyone’s situation is different, so I believe each person will have their own path. But what it will be is a choice each person must make for themselves. It is simple: the choice of what to do now will show who a person becomes tomorrow. With this in mind, I would like to share a link to an article about Time, of which we are all hostages in this dimension. Overall, the article reminded me that the choice here and now matters—a conscious choice. The article itself is here.

I decided to revise it slightly, with an emphasis on action, which Om Shanti writes about repeatedly. After all, only actions allow a person to move closer to their goal, even if they have to take a step back at first; the important thing is to keep moving and not stop.

Free yourself from the illusion of haste
Imagine this: you get out of your car, walk down the street, and suddenly realize—you have a choice. Instead of saying, “There’s no time,” tell yourself, “What can I do right now to make the day brighter?” Time seems like a whip—an alarm clock, traffic jams, deadlines—but it is merely a habit of the mind. Start your morning not with anxiety, but with three deep breaths and the question: “What one step will make me stronger today?” You are not a slave to the clock—you are its master, and the first step toward freedom is to write this question in your phone and answer it every morning.

Rediscover your zest for life
Every person is born with the gift of feeling the world: the aroma of coffee, a warm ray of sunlight, a passerby’s smile. But routine coats our senses with a crust, like dust on a mirror. The good news is that you can wipe it away in minutes. Start small: this evening, go outside, close your eyes, and listen to the sounds around you—birds, wind, footsteps. Write down three sensations in your notes. Tomorrow, add touch: hug a tree or pet a cat. Such actions will restore life’s sharpness, and you will feel a surge of energy—it is like exercise for the soul, after which you want to create rather than merely survive.

Become the creator of your day
Life is not a “work-food-sleep” conveyor belt, but a canvas on which you are the artist. Stop selling your hours for “tasks” that do not inspire you, and invest them in what ignites you. Here is a plan for the week:

- Morning (5 minutes): Choose one goal for the day—“Help a friend” or “Draw an idea for a project.” Say aloud: “This is my choice!”

- Daytime (2-minute pause): At lunch, ask yourself: “What valuable thing have I created today?” If nothing—do something: write a letter, fix a shelf, call someone close to you.

- Evening (3 minutes): Write down three victories: “I smiled at a stranger, tried a new route, declined an argument.” This builds up the energy of success.

These steps will transform you from a participant into a director—conflicts will become lessons, haste will dissolve, and your days will fill with meaning.

Act today—change tomorrow.

You are not a machine on a treadmill, but the captain of a ship. Start with one action immediately after reading this: stand up, do 10 squats, or call someone you have not heard from in a long time. Energy flows wherever you direct your gaze—choose bright goals, and the world will open up. Act boldly, step by step, and you will see: life is an adventure that you build yourself. Your first step is waiting for you!

This text is about money as a game that people stubbornly refuse to play by the rules.

I explain why money games (even virtual ones) expose a person’s real problems:
their fears, illusions, false spirituality, and inability to accept what is offered.

The key mistake I point out is:

“It’s just a game.”

But in our world, everything is a game:

business is a game,

the market is a game,

money is a game,

even life, as Shakespeare said.

And it is precisely in games that people truly lose.

I draw a parallel with Jesus Christ’s parable of the talents—
about a servant who lost nothing but did nothing either,
and was punished precisely for that.

Because in this world (and in the Kingdom of Heaven, if you prefer),
what is valued is not what is preserved, but what is multiplied.

I show:

why “I’ll give everything away immediately” is not spirituality but escapism,

why people dreaming of a million do not know what to do with it,

why money does not come to those who want to use it to buy the image of a “saint.”

I speak plainly:
money is God’s energy,
and you cannot play at appearances with it.

This text is
about being honest with yourself,
about real steps of growth,
and about why, without the ability to earn,
it is impossible to create anything truly spiritual.

These games are not child’s play.
The results are real.

As I have already said, money games are currently taking place in my Dream Club.
And they reveal many traits in people—traits they had not noticed before. Or perhaps do not want to notice even now.

I do not call them mistakes.
I call them traits.

You can work on them.
Or you can choose not to.
That is your choice.

One such trait is that people think:
“It’s just a game.”

I deliberately emphasize this phrase—just a game.

Interestingly, life itself is also very often called a game.
There is such an expression: life is a game.
The first person to say this was the poet Shakespeare.
Have you ever thought about it?

Many people say they do not take the game seriously because it is “just a game.”
But I will tell you this: our world contains a huge number of games.

For example, horse racing—betting on horses. That is a game.
And you can imagine how much real money is won and lost there.

Or take places like Las Vegas: cards, roulette, casinos.
These are all games.

I emphasize: these are all games.

Even your business—no matter how seriously you take it—
is also a game.

So why do you think that a mere game cannot lead you to a real, useful result?

You have probably heard Jesus Christ’s famous parable of the talents.

A king gave each of his servants one coin. It does not matter what it was called—a talent or something else. He left for some time.
Then he returned and asked them to give the money back.

One servant returned one coin and another hundred on top of it, saying that he had invested it in a venture that produced a profit.
The other servants also returned their coins—with varying profits, but all of them had tried to increase their profit.

And there was one servant who said:
“I was afraid of you, master, so I kept this coin safe and sound. I was afraid of losing it or having it stolen. You gave me one coin, and I am returning one coin to you—everything is fair.”

And there was no profit.

The king became angry. He said:
“He is the worst servant. Take this coin from him and give it to those who brought profit and are capable of producing it.”

The most remarkable thing is that Jesus Christ told this parable while explaining to his disciples what the Kingdom of Heaven is.

Do you understand the level of this parable?

It is a parable about the Kingdom of Heaven.

The money games I am talking about take place in my Telegram channel.
This is an extension of my Your Yoga website and my School.

Some people think these are just games.
But for some reason, the problems they reveal are anything but childish.

Very often, these games work like litmus paper and show why a person has no money in real life.

Some people skip steps.
They immediately start engaging in “charity” with virtual money.
They try to show others how spiritual and perfect they are, supposedly not needing money themselves.

But if we look at truly spiritual people in this world, we will see that all of them accomplished something significant with the help of money.

Take Osho.
Take Srila Prabhupada.
Paramahansa Yogananda.

They all used dollars.
They did not say that money was dirt.

Everything you know about these teachers today became possible only because an enormous amount of money was invested in it.

That is the kind of game it is.

And you will not be able to create anything if you do not play by the rules.
And rules do exist.
You cannot invent them.

Many people are now seeing in my Telegram money channel how others make mistakes even with virtual money.
They handle it incorrectly.

And suddenly it turns out that people who want to have a million do not even know what to do with it.

They are offered a million—and they do not take it.
For reasons of their own.

Or they take the money and immediately try to spend it on something that is done only at the very end of a business.
They play at spirituality—but it is false spirituality.

According to the principle:
“Why do I need money? I am such a perfect person that as soon as money appears in my hands, I immediately give it all away.”

In doing so, they skip the most important steps:
getting on their feet,
creating a business,
earning money,
and only then engaging in charity.

Because if you yourself live in poverty and help the poor—
you will not help anyone that way.

But many people do not actually need money.
They need a minute of glory.

They want to pull the wool over other people’s eyes, show how pure and harmless they are, how spiritual they are.

For many, money is needed only for this.

But money is God’s energy.
You cannot deceive Him.

If you want to use money to create an illusion of your spirituality—
money will not come to you.

Moreover, you simply do not know how to use it if your goal is to buy spirituality for yourself.

There is a Vedic saying I heard from spiritual teachers:
“If you step into the ring, fight.”

This means:
You cannot step into the ring and start preaching mercy and love.
People fight in the ring.

If you have stepped into the ring—
show your strength,
show your skill,
show your will.

That is what the ring exists for.

If you want to talk about mercy—
you need to go to a temple,
not to the ring.

That is why it is so strange to see people who say they need money,
come to learn about money, but in reality engage in empty talk.

They imitate spirituality,
say that they supposedly do not need money,
condemn others for earning,
and claim that money should immediately be given away to everyone—
to feed cats, dogs, and homeless people.

And yet they do not understand the most important thing:
if you do not know how to earn money,
you will not be able to use it to do anything truly useful.

You would never have heard of Buddha, Krishna, Christ, and so on if a sea of money had not been invested in it.

This lecture is called “A Visit to Fairyland” — and that is no coincidence.

I am talking about fairy-tale consciousness, which a huge number of people live in.
About believing that you can:
— repeat a mantra,
— perform a ritual,
— “do something” for a little while,
— and then…
expect money, people, opportunities and benefits to come on their own.

Beautiful.
But this is a fairy tale, not reality.

I explain something important:
yes, there are mystics in the world to whom everything comes by itself.
But that is a very high level,
and such people generally lose all interest in money.

If you are not at that level —
stop lying to yourself.

The problem is not spirituality.
The problem is that spirituality without action
steals years of your life.

In the lecture, I talk about the middle way —
about the balance between:
— work and faith,
— action and rituals,
— money and spirituality.

Mantras, pujas and rites are light.
But light needs a path.

I decided to call today’s lecture “A Visit to Fairyland.”
And now you will understand why.

There used to be a children’s television program — it was called exactly that:
“A Visit to Fairyland.”
You turned on the television and watched a fairy tale.
Usually, we did this as children,
but, incidentally, many adults also like fairy tales.

Now imagine this.

You want to earn a lot of money...

What do you do?

You start repeating some secret mantra...

You browse websites where everything is done for you free of charge.
You repeat this “secret mantra” —
and large sums of money come to you.

All around you are kind, spiritual people.
They give you everything for free.

They have worked all their lives —
and give you all their labor for free.

Wherever you go —
all courses are free,
all programs are free.

You need an apartment —
you say:
“I need an apartment,”
and they give you an apartment for free.

You need a car —
and they give you a car for free as well.

Because you repeat the secret mantra.

Isn’t that wonderful?

So: “Welcome to Fairyland.”

After all, isn’t this exactly what you dream of?

It is wonderful to live in a fairy tale.
But, as you know, reality is different...

For many years, people with this kind of fairy-tale consciousness often wrote to me.
They genuinely thought — and still think —
that they need to repeat some mantra,
perform some ritual —
and money will come on its own...

And people will appear around them
who will do everything for them for free...

I do not deny that this is possible.
Yes, it is possible.

But for that, you need to be a very mystical yogi.

Are you such a yogi?
Do you practice austerities?
Are you truly following the path of deep mysticism?

Most likely, no.

Because it is very difficult.
In fact, it is much more difficult
than simply going out and earning a lot of money.

ha-ha-ha-ha

And I will tell you even more:
people who truly possess such supernatural abilities
for some reason lose interest in money.

That is a very high level.

If you are at that level —
money is probably not your concern at all.

But if you are not at that level,
stop tormenting yourself with the illusion
that you will say some mantra —
and money will come by itself,
and everyone around you will do everything for you for free.

There is no such mantra.

It is not a mantra.
It is a way of life.
And you have to live that way of life.

Quite a few people come to me for consultations every year.
And every year I tell them the same thing:

— Stop using fairy-tale consciousness.
It does not help you.
It only wastes your time.

Every year they ask:
“How can I earn a lot of money?”

I ask:
— What are you doing to achieve that?

And they answer:
— I repeat a mantra.

In other words, they have done a little something —
and then simply keep repeating the mantra.

Meanwhile, there are people nearby who are genuinely wealthy.
They do a lot
and continue doing a lot.

Can you imagine?

It turns out that you have to do something.
And do a lot.

Nothing happens by itself.

ha-ha-ha

I am not saying that fairy-tale consciousness is bad.
Only fairy-tale consciousness by itself is bad.

On the path to prosperity, you need to use everything,
but wisely.

Too much work is bad.
Too much fairy-tale consciousness is bad too.

But when you follow what Buddha spoke about —
the middle way,
then balance appears.

The golden mean.
Harmony.

And money is also about harmony.

Some people spend too much.
Some too little.
Some want too much.
Some want nothing at all.

None of this is harmony.

Harmony is when everything is in balance,
and money is merely one area of life.

You may be thinking now
that Sergei Vasilyevich talks about money a lot for some reason.

But I talk about everything.

If you visit the Mahapurna School
or the “Your Yoga” website,
you will see that they talk about everything there.

But people like to put labels on things.

When I talk about God,
they say, “Oh, it’s a cult.”

I talk about Krishna —
“Oh, Sergei Vasilyevich is a Hare Krishna devotee.”

I talk about Buddha —
“So he is a Buddhist, it turns out.”

I talk about money —
“Now we know for sure that he is just an ordinary businessman.”

At one point I created many programs —
and people said, “Veretennikov is a programmer
who decided to become a yogi.”

People have called me all sorts of things.

ha-ha-ha-ha

I try to be a versatile person
with broad interests and abilities.

And people know me exactly that way.

Perfection
is being perfect in everything.

You may meet a brilliant scientist, physicist or nuclear physicist.
He may be great in his field,
but unable to do anything else.

He cannot do push-ups.
He cannot do pull-ups.
He cannot write a poem.
He cannot cook for himself.

A genius in one area —
and a zero in everything else.

I, on the other hand, am known as someone
who writes poems and stories,
and they touch people.

I write music.
I program.
I am an athlete.
I am a vegetarian, the author of many books, websites, projects and social media blogs...
I do a great many things.

And you know this.

Of course, spirituality, esotericism, mantras and rituals
are not at the bottom of the list.

All of this helps.

But it is important to understand the essence.

For example, there is a tradition:
you build a boat —
then break a champagne bottle.

That is a ritual.

But it is foolish to break bottles
if you do not have a boat.

And that is precisely what fairy-tale consciousness is.

People break bottles,
waste time and money,
but do not build the boat.

ha-ha-ha-ha

The point of all rituals is that
something must already have been done.

In India, for example,
they first build a house,
and then invite a Brahmin
to bless the house.

And if the ceremony is performed correctly,
a happy life begins in the house.

But for that, you need a house.

And for a happy life,
you also need to do something.

Rituals, pujas and mantras
are light.

But light needs something to illuminate.

You must walk along the road
so that the light illuminates your path.

For about twenty years, I ran the “Your Yoga” website,
and everything on it was free.

Until I discovered
that this format did not work as I had expected.

People began using the free materials incorrectly.

I did not even add a copyright notice for several years.
Until I saw
that people were simply downloading the entire website,
moving it to other domains,
placing advertisements on it
and beginning to earn money from my work.

This forced me to add a copyright notice
and protect my content by actively defending my authorship.
People did not like that...

But after 20 years, I saw even more astonishing things.

People could use the fruits of my labor for free
while writing nasty things about me
on social media
and even in private messages.
At that point, it was very easy for me to write.

They received a double benefit:
humiliating me
while using my materials at the same time.

And sometimes they even made money from them.

For them, it was simply a fairy-tale life.

There it is — welcome back to Fairyland!

But then something changed.

I began creating paid materials as well.

And then they felt bad.

For 20 years, everything had been free and magical,
and suddenly something became paid.

The picture fell apart. The fairy tale ended.

And they howled even louder.

I had not expected
how vile people could be when their fairy tale was suddenly taken away from them like children...

Giving everything away for free also has to be done wisely.

I regret nothing.

But we live in a perverted society,
and even good deeds here
are often perceived in a distorted way.

I am not talking about everyone.
It is a certain percentage of people.

And you cannot exclude them.

If someone begins to fall apart
because of the good things you do,
you need to consider
whether you should continue in that format.

So I thought about it too.

Now, what can be given for free,
I give for free.

And what should be paid for,
I make paid.

Everything has become more or less harmonious.

The people who were outraged
have disappeared somewhere.

And what remains are grateful, calm people ready to develop and improve themselves.
