One way or another, while following a healthy lifestyle and diet, many people abandon this path because they are afraid of losing body weight.
This is especially relevant for those who are Vata dosha by nature (ectomorphs).
And of course, this is important for those who experimented with their diet and miscalculated something, ending up severely underweight.
It may simply be a desire to look more attractive, if one believes that the body should be more rounded rather than extremely thin.
First and foremost, you need to make sure you do not get nervous. Long-term stress in particular consumes a great deal of energy.
People often lose weight because an incredible amount of food is expended on all these nervous processes, which do not stop.
If you look at relatively calm people, they are always somewhat plump. This is a characteristic of Kapha dosha.
If they began worrying about everything, believe me, they would also start losing weight. And it would be an unhealthy weight-loss process.
I strongly recommend looking into Autonomy; I am running an entire topic about Autonomy for you here: Autonomy
And most importantly, you need to understand that you can eat very little and still maintain a normal body weight. People with Kapha dosha are proof of this. Their usual words are: “I literally only have to eat a little, and I immediately gain weight.” You have probably seen people like that yourselves. They are incredibly calm. Therefore, food is not wasted.
So if you are thin, it is very important for you to become just as calm as Kapha.
