The cucumbers are doing well, developing little by little.
A delicate approach: spraying daily instead of watering, so they don't get waterlogged.

And I have spring on my windowsill!
The cucumbers are green, growing bigger, my favorites!
I'm trying to do everything as written in the thread "Free and Pure Food." And look, it works! They're growing happily in the apartment by the window. I only received the seeds recently, and look how big they've already grown. It's easy and simple!
The third photo is simply delightful, like a little snail's head... so cute and truly puts me in a spring mood
And there's no need for any supplemental lighting right now either, join in!

Despite everything (snow, frost outside, overcast weather, the roots being confined by the sides of the pot)—it is blooming! And the cucumbers are increasing in size “like yeast.” I've even gotten used to having them around.
Cucumbers in an apartment are some kind of miracle! I had no idea this was even possible! Many thanks to Om Shanti—he's the only one who suggested it! He always suggests the very best!
I bought five seeds once, and cucumbers grew from them. Now I propagate them from side shoots. A whole bunch of side shoots grows—and these are new plants. So if I give someone one side shoot, it grows roots in water within a week, and you get a completely free cucumber plant! This way, you can fill the whole apartment with cucumbers, with entire vertical farms on shelving units, and they'll provide food all year round in such quantities that you'll even have some to give away later. The issue of the cucumber not being a perennial plant is also solved with side shoots. When, after six months, the cucumber decides to leave, you simply plant its own side shoot in its pot, and the harvest continues!

Thank you, and absolutely right. Roots like these produce cucumber suckers simply in a glass of water. Two cucumber suckers and two tomato seedlings have already gone to relatives in another city, where they were successfully planted and continue growing in pots.

I broke it off from the windowsill at an acquaintance's place.
And indeed, the cucumber grew white roots in the glass. I later planted it in my greenhouse. It took root, but its growth rate is still zero. During the same period—three weeks—cucumbers grown from seeds produced four leaves.
According to the agronomists, the lifespan of a cucumber propagated from cuttings like this is slightly shorter than one grown from a seed.
But in autumn, cuttings like these can be propagated from the greenhouse back into the apartment, shortening the growing time compared with starting from seed.
