Please explain—I’m confused and feel sad about it. The School’s lunar calendar says that today is the 29th lunar day. The 28th was yesterday and during the night; in the morning it changed to the 29th. So why is the night of Shivaratri the night of the 26th–27th, rather than the night of the 25th (yesterday)–26th? I would be extremely grateful for any answers!

I checked the lunar day on other websites for Moscow and my city, and everywhere it says that it is currently the 28th lunar day.

THAT’S IT! I’ve been struggling with this dilemma since the beginning of the week. I read articles on the Your Yoga website and here, at the School, but I’m weak in astrology, so I decided simply to trust the Teacher. And now, according to the local calendar, it is already the 29th lunar day. I fasted yesterday and last night (the night of the 25th–26th), in accordance with Your Yoga’s calculation. But now I saw in the TY Telegram channel that the festive night is apparently the night of the 26th–27th, and I’m completely confused. It seems there is a contradiction in the information from essentially the same source, and I don’t know what to think. So I came here—perhaps someone knowledgeable here, or OM Shanti himself, can explain.

As an armchair astronomer, I can only assume that the cause is the complex orbit along which the Moon revolves around the Earth. Therefore, the time of the lunar day differs slightly in different geographical regions.

So, if someone happened to stay awake all night yesterday, whether intentionally or not, do they receive the same equivalent benefit as if they had stayed awake tonight?
Space and time and all the Portals—all of them exist within Us, within our God, in whom We Always Are, and He is within Us. Everything is One. One can connect with Shiva’s Blessing through the Heart, through Love, which fills Him at every moment....
I have not immersed myself deeply in the Tradition, but Yoga has always been nearby..., although I did not previously realize this so clearly. I visited the Your Yoga website more |I understand this now| in order to touch God through Sergei Vasilyevich’s poems. And a Miracle always happened—within me, a portal of Love and Mercy opened, because the vibrations rose upon contact with His Field of Love. And in this new state |everything in me is still rather unstable and fluctuating| I connected with the Blessing—as if I temporarily became Love itself and created my reality in Its flow. Quantum physics explains how Space works in the language of science. Everyone has their own miraculous stories..., which exist on a level beyond the logic of the Mind, yet they are real. Sometimes, as confirmation of a very important subject that needs to be revealed more deeply so that the mind can believe..., rhymes come to me, but I cannot always write them down accurately while conveying the true vibrations of the message.... But for me, this is always a compelling reason to Believe. Signs come in different forms. So, yesterday, after the attunement, rhymes on the subject came to me.... And today, Your information about the Holiday, the video meditation “Night of Shiva,” and, most importantly, the Field of Love of the Space of the School and Ashram..., suddenly revealed new “puzzles” within me, for my person, like little yellow-brick pieces appearing beneath the feet of Ellie and her Friends as they made their way toward their Dream—the Emerald City....

When different methods of calculation are involved, it does not mean that the numbers themselves are important.
The cosmic moment itself is what matters.
That is, the 10th lunar day according to one system or the 12th according to another is merely a set of numbers.
The event itself is what matters. How you calculate it is a secondary matter.
If you have Google Calendar, you can enable the display of holidays from different religions. If you select Hinduism, it will show all Hindu holidays. Convenient.
“Be careful what you wish for...” There is a well-known expression like that... I would add requests as well, although essentially a request is an “expressed” desire. It is wonderful when they arise from purity of thought, which is inseparable from awareness. The higher it is, the more beneficial for you will be what comes in response to the request, regardless of the lesson or the pattern of reality you find yourself in as a consequence of appealing to the Forces.
For me, receiving the attunement coincided with working in the “Night of Shiva” meditation. I was not really planning to ask for anything in particular, but apparently some subconscious mechanism was activated, since rhymes came to me telling of what had happened. This request, in the form of a desire, has always been present in my space and continues to do its work. Today I understood even more clearly how serious these things are. I received consequences opposite in nature (pleasant–unpleasant). As a result of the OTG practices in the Master's Field and the unpacking of old blocks that I had not felt (I thought I had worked through the topic of Love quite well), there were wonderful experiences and a quite tangible sign from the surrounding world, which was very pleasant. But in parallel with this, vanity also grew stronger (the side of its coin called an inflated self-esteem of the false Ego; the other side—the lowered one—is always present too; they simply change places depending on the situation—you feel as if you are on Olympus one moment, then tumble head over heels downward, figuratively speaking). To be honest, I had not received lessons like these for a long time (I will describe it in “Observation...” ). Joy gave way to bewilderment and disappointment. These are very important and powerful processes for working through pride. This situation put things into perspective for my favorite Lilith and me—I just do not know for how long. Because the peacock's tail is still spreading out, seemingly on its own, to the extent that it has already been rewritten (the presence of a stable composite in the database on this topic).
I will write down the rhymes too:
I asked God in the night that by Grace the Heart might sparkle, that everything still there in the Shadow might be lit by the bright sun of Love. I asked the God of Love that Her pure stream might flow through “my channels” and ... of the Earth..., that It might not dry up or lose its way in the wilderness of the Ego's former blindness—in the false values of the old world, for now we stand at the threshold marked by Shiva's Grace, like the birth of a new Dawn in every Heart of earthly Unity, so that the light of Beauty might expand—the Light of Shiva's Higher Consciousness.
The heart blossoms with quiet joy, knowing that Shiva has heard its song.... My human self sings hymns of gratitude because it has drawn closer to Him (in a certain state it rose to another branch of reality in this same dimension—that is how I understood it, and then slipped back to the previous one, if not lower).
Interestingly, later the rhymes continued:
The Mind did not ask for immortality.... “Why not?” I asked myself. “Does it not believe... or has it simply forgotten...?”
I immediately received a quick answer: “Oh! Shiva's immortal Love—for it is without cause and without consequence; there are no opposing poles within it—it is the Eternal Song of the Forces of Unity!”
You want such Love, do you not... which means you believe it is possible for you in this world of “dreams”?
“Yes,” I replied, “although it is difficult...”
And this difficulty did not take long to appear..., because the request—to be able to Love unconditionally—is both easy and not easy at the same time.
