I would like to introduce you to my little study. I simply had the thought: how do modern robots chant mantras?

I chose the best-known mantras. The most popular of the popular ones.

Gayatri is probably the worst of all. The syllables "ni" and "re" come out poorly and sound too soft, in a Russian way. But the fact that it can be voiced at all is certainly remarkable.

I agree with the previous comments: the robot cannot 《carry》 the Gayatri mantra. I liked the first three best: the sound is almost indistinguishable from a human voice, and the intonation is also closer to that of people. A very interesting experiment!

Mantras are usually not spoken, but rather sung. Maybe that's the reason. Perhaps you should try teaching the robot to sing

I liked the Tara mantra; it came out as a chant, especially when listening to the repetitions. The first three mantras were also good, but the last three sound unpleasant and unnatural.
A very interesting study.

I liked the Hare Krishna and OM Namah Shivaya mantras the most, and the Gayatri the least. I suppose you have to be a Brahmin to recite the Gayatri well The voice and intonation are very similar to Yandex's voice assistant, Alice.

It feels so unusual to me, as if someone were sawing glass. There is no life in it, and therefore no heart or soul. If an order were given in such a voice, it could be perceived as... And these words should convey information, but there is none here. Something like that......

I didn’t like any of the performances. Maybe it really is because they aren’t sung but rather articulated, or perhaps it’s simply dry, uninfused pronunciation. But not a single mantra resonated with me....

It reproduces sounds resembling the human voice; it is like the sound of a synthesizer. It can certainly be beautiful and very melodic, but it is definitely not a living sound that can come from the human body. And what is the difference? Well, when a person sings, it is not only notes that resonate in the sound. Singing is the sound of the soul, the vibrations of their heart, their experiences and emotions conveyed through their singing. No electronics has a soul, so the sound is merely a beautiful imitation of the human voice.
Even shamans who have neither voice nor musical ear produce such sounds through their singing that, whether you want to or not, you will fly off into the astral plane! And it is truly mesmerizing and induces ecstasy!

I didn’t like that all the mantras are recited as text rather than sung. And I think the last mantra is not supposed to be pronounced that way at all... Still, mantras are better listened to with a human voice. Well, at least the ones posted here above...
