As I already mentioned, the programs are primarily written for Windows.
However, if desired, they can be run on any operating system. But, of course, not directly.
Moreover, many smartphones and tablets already come with Windows installed, or have all three popular operating systems installed, between which you can switch. You can also follow this route—simply install a second operating system, Windows, if that is more convenient for someone. But this is already a task for a specialist. As far as I know, you can simply take it to some service center and they will install it. Not for free, of course.
Now, one of the ways to emulate Windows on Android. Emulation does not require installing a second operating system. This is the simplest option; even a beginner can manage it.
Instructions.
First, you need to open any service where you download applications for your phone. For example: Play Market or GetApps.
Enter "bochs" in the search bar.
And install the Bochs program on your smartphone—or wherever you want to use Windows programs, such as a tablet. With Bochs, you can emulate any operating system.
Install Bochs2_5_1.apk (BOCHS for Android v.2.5.1; ~1.20 MB).
Download SDL_for_BOCHS.zip (BIOS, video card firmware, etc.) and extract it into the SDL folder, which you must first create in the root of the sdcard.
Download the *.img image of the operating system (Windows 98), rename the file from the archive to "c.img", and place it in the "SDL" folder on the sdcard.
Launch the program installed in the first step and wait.
